Thank You Captain

Hello, Today is a sad day for Boston Red Sox's fans like myself, Our beloved Captain Jason Varitek is announcing his retirement. Jason contributed so much to the team. His talent as a catcher allowed him to work with the pitchers like no one else, he brought out the best in them and in the rest of the team. His passion and love for the game helped lead the team to the first world championship in 86 yrs, helped us to reverse of the curse! That passion and love being so apparent to everyone earned him the title of Captain, and he served his title well for his remaining years. The 2004 season was the most exciting time I can ever remember watching the game. I stayed up many nights till 1:00 in the morning watching the games as they went into overtime, watching the biggest comeback of all time in a playoff series, against our rivals the Yankees, I mean could it get any better than that, no, not a chance! So from me and all of Red Soxs Nation, Thank You Captain, you will be missed.
Thanks for visiting,
Janet :)

Thank You

Hello, Just quick note to say Thank you to my commenters from yesterday. You did help me more than you can know. It just builds up, sitting here every day, the phone ringing with people who want money from me that I don't have. Not being able to hop in the car to escape the four walls that those dam rings echo off of. It builds up when I have to spend a beautiful day like today in a court house explaining to another creditor why I can't pay my bill. Ya "It" builds, by "It" I'm sure you get what I mean, "It" is the disappointment and frustration you feel that this is not how my life was suppose to turn out and all that encompasses. So maybe I'll find the strength to say Thank You for what I am going through (although I find that hard to believe right now LOL!) as it suggests in the poem below and listen, listen really hard for the guidance and courage to keep my dreams and hope from fading away. Thank you again,
Janet :)

Thank You

Hi Everyone, How are ya, I'm great. I picked out a couple of funny clips of my favorite shows to share a laugh with you this weekend. That's what weekends are for right, laughing, relaxing, being with the one you love. Yesterday Pete and I went to Martha's Vineyard and had a great time. We've always been able to laugh together. We were cracking up as we traveled around on our scooter, all I could think of was Dumb and Dumber, yup that was us LOL! We got jokingly excited when we would go downhill on the scooter, ya now that's wild let me tell ya!! The best part of the day came at the end, when we rode the boat back home. We held hands the whole time and he kept his arm around me as I rested on his shoulder. I can't put into words how beautiful every second felt. And to add to the best part of the day, as we drove home and the radio came back on,this song was on. We spoke these words to each other. It is true that you will reap the rewards when you turn your life around. Life is still wonderful sober my friends, in fact I think it is better than wonderful.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Love ya's,
Janet :)
